How to add a website as your browser home page
Set a specific website to open automatically when you start your browser.
Microsoft Edge
- Open Edge.
- Select Settings and more (three dots).
- Go to Settings.
- Select Appearance.
- Turn on Show home button.
- Choose Enter custom web address.
- Type or paste the website URL you want as your home page.
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome.
- Select the three dots next to your profile icon.
- Choose Settings.
- Select Appearance.
- Turn on Show Home button.
- Choose Enter custom web address.
- Enter the site address you want as your home page.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Select the menu icon (three lines).
- Choose Settings.
- Go to Home.
- Under Homepage and new windows, select Custom URLs.
- Enter the website address you want to use.
Safari (macOS)
- Open Safari.
- Go to Safari in the top menu.
- Select Preferences.
- Choose the General tab.
- In Homepage, type the address you want.
- Choose when you want it to show (new windows/tabs).
